Your generosity covers operational, personnel, and ministry expenses for 4 locations (Online, in Canton, in Marietta, and the Hispanic congregation sharing the Marietta facility). But, in addition to serving our communities in both Cobb and Cherokee Counties, and supporting our members through worship, discipleship, and fellowship opportunities, Legacy Church gives a portion of all General Fund donations to help support both local outreach and global missions. We also serve with many of these ministries throughout the year. If you are interested in being on the Missions & Outreach team or participating in mission trips, you can reach out via the CONNECT link.
Legacy Church serves many people in the community at the Marietta location. The Spanish congregation hosts numerous community outreach events, Kings Academy utilizes our fields for football practice, multiple AA groups call Legacy home, and recently we've partnered with Bread Coffeehouse to reach KSU students. Shortly, local families will use our fields for i9 Sports.
Where there is a need in Marietta you’ll find the Marietta Salvation Army. They empower youth, work in hunger relief, share God’s love, and work to stabilize family situations. The majority of the money raised by Bell ringing in Marietta stays in Marietta to fund projects. Besides our monthly gift to the Salvation Army, Legacy church is solely responsible for ringing the bell at the Kroger on Sandy Plains and Shallowford for the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 2022 that bucket raised almost $7000. Our youth go to the Salvation Army building to help out with lawn care, food pantry organization and helping pack the Angel Tree gift bags.
