Salvation Army
Where there is a need in Marietta you’ll find the Marietta Salvation Army. They empower youth, work in hunger relief, share God’s love, and work to stabilize family situations. The majority of the money raised by Bell ringing in Marietta stays in Marietta to fund projects. Besides our monthly gift to the Salvation Army, Legacy church is solely responsible for ringing the bell at the Kroger on Sandy Plains and Shallowford for the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 2022 that bucket raised almost $7000. Our youth go to the Salvation Army building to help out with lawn care, food pantry organization and helping pack the Angel Tree gift bags. More info >> GA Fellowship of
