LEGACY STORIES
I love this church!! My fiance (now husband) and I wanted to find a place to get plugged into and we are so happy to have found Legacy! I think our favorite part is the fellowship we've gained. Many members of the church go out to lunch together after service and it's something we look forward to every week.

I have attended Legacy Church since 1996. To be honest, I was something of a diamond in the really, really rough back then. I brought a lot of baggage with me. I was angry at the world and I felt I needed to find a church home out of a sense of Christian duty. So, it took a few years for me to see this church for what it was. But when I finally opened my eyes, it was a bit like scales falling off of them. Never in my entire life have I known love like I have been shown at this church. People persisted in drawing me in, loving me and helping me to lose my baggage. I have found true family here. I know that Legacy is where I belong. I have been extremely blessed just being able to serve here; the youth, the mission team, worship arts, women's ministry and small groups allowed me to be a part of God's great works. I wouldn't trade it. Legacy Church is my family, my tribe. Often I have sat in the parking lot when it was empty and I just knew. It is home. ~ Pat Wright 
Thanks for allowing me the chance to say how much Legacy has meant to my life over the past 3 years. My church had discontinued their contemporary worship service, where I played and sang in the band. Friends told me about Legacy and after attending several weeks, I finally admitted to the pastor that I played bass. He grabbed my arms and declared that I was an answer to prayer. It's nice to be told that. But God answered my prayers through Legacy also, for a band, for a happy church fellowship, and for friends in my own community. Legacy is very good at providing opportunities to serve, to grow in our Christian lives, and to shine the love of Jesus to each other and into the surrounding community.

We have attended Legacy since 2022 when we moved to Canton from Minnesota. Our kids told us how much they loved it and we knew Legacy was right for us because of the friendly, welcoming congregation that helped us feel right at home. It's not just a church but family! We also found out that Pastor Mitchell's wife, Megan, grew up in Minnesota and loved that connection!

My family and I have been attending Legacy Canton for awhile. We love it here. Genuinely good people who want to help others and share the love of Christ. We have 4 kids and all are involved in the Youth and kids' programs. It just feels like home!

We have been attending Legacy since April 2022. We were new to Canton and searching for a church. We saw the flags for Legacy and decided to check it out. We love that Legacy is focused on Jesus through its praise, preaching, and people! We've attended Legacy for over 22 years! Our next door neighbors just happened to be Pastors here and invited us. We knew immediately that it was the place for us. The friendliness drew us in and the love and teaching kept us here. ~ John and Allyson Steen 
We have been a part of Legacy since the very beginning. Our children were raised in this church. We love the people and feel their love for us.
