In the Christmas season, we're faced with so many choices—what gifts to give, how to celebrate, and how we’ll spend our time. "Would you rather" games are all about choices, and though they’re just for fun, they remind us of the many decisions we make each day.
Sometimes, in the midst of holiday decisions, we can get so wrapped up in shopping, decorating, and celebrating that we forget about the most important choice: to seek Jesus first. Matthew 6:33 encourages us to focus on God’s kingdom and trust that everything else we need will follow. Choosing to put Jesus first during Christmas means we are choosing peace, joy, and love over stress, materialism, and busyness.
This Christmas, we have a choice. Will we get caught up in the whirlwind of activities, or will we take time to reflect on the true gift of Christmas? Jesus offers us the gift of His presence, peace, and purpose if we seek Him above all else.
