MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Let's come together to spread joy and kindness around like snowflakes!
Before you dive into today's fun game at the bottom of the page, we invite you to consider making a difference in the lives of others: This December, Legacy has dedicated the first $5,000 we receive in our Foward in Faith One Fund to Casa de Abby - a safe, nurturing, and permanent home for young girls who have suffered physical and sexual abuse. Helping them to heal, grow, and become confident and empowered young women.
Honduras is the poorest nation in Central America with 1 out of 5 people living on less than $1.90/day. They have the highest rate of child sexual abuse in all of Latin America with 87% of reported abuse happening to young girls, and 95% of abusers are from their own families.

We’ve also put together a list of local charities close to the heart of Legacy—organizations that bring hope and joy not just at Christmas, but all year long. Whether through a financial gift, donating goods, or giving your time, each act of kindness helps brighten the season for everyone.
Why Give Back During Christmas?
Christmas is a time to celebrate the gift of love, compassion, and community. By giving back, we embrace the true spirit of the season and uplift those around us. Your generosity—big or small—helps provide essential resources, warmth, and hope for families, individuals, and communities who may be struggling.
Giving back doesn’t just help those in need—it can lift your spirits and brighten your season, too. Research shows that acts of generosity activate areas of the brain associated with pleasure, connection, and trust. When we give, our brains release “feel-good” chemicals like dopamine and oxytocin, sometimes called the “helper’s high.” These natural responses make us feel more connected, happy, and fulfilled.
During the holiday season, giving to others also strengthens bonds with family, friends, and community, reminding us of what really matters. Whether it’s a financial donation, time spent volunteering, or gifting supplies to a local charity, each small act can make a big impact—not only for those we help but also for us.
