Church - Out of Context

The staff here at Legacy Church often laugh at the odd comments we make and hear.  We decided that we needed a place to compile them all and share them with others who work in this weird profession called ministry or who may appreciate the wonderful oddity of our days.

5.23.19 
​"My job next week is to figure out how to safely suspend the Children's Pastor from the ceiling..."  ~Pastor Brent

"My... hands... are like... wooooowww......."  ~Pastor Jeff (Recovering from having tonsils removed)

3.11.19
"We neither know the date or the time, but we are anxiously awaiting the second coming..... of the copy repair man!"  ~Pastor Jeff
After the copier had been down for days with multiple parts ordered and services visits have taken place.  (As of this post, it's still out of commission)

2.12.19 - Staff Meeting
"Everything is going over whales"  ~Pastor Julio
He meant to say, "Everything is going over wheels".  Which again meant nothing to us, but apparently is a colloquial phrase meaning everything is moving forward and going fine.

"I am their leader.  Where did they go?"   ~Pastor Nate, trying to wrangle the staff.
"Here's the big cardboard box for the small camel"   ~Regarding the kids Christmas eve pageant.
